We never sell data:
Anyway doesn’t sell, rent, or share any student data with third party websites for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes. We use data only to power career exploration on the platform. All data runs within Microsoft Azure, a closed enterprise system.
What student data we collect:
Anyway only collect information that is pertinent to the student’s career exploration journey and support districts’ reporting requirements such as:
- Basic account information (name, school, grade) provided through the district or teacher rostering, or when a user creates an account
- Interests, skills, and career assessment responses entered by the student
- Activity and progress data (modules completed, career development plans created) used by the teacher or counselor for mentoring
- No sensitive data (financial, medical, or biometric information) is ever collected
Security Certifications
- ISO 27001 - certifies that Anyway maintains a formal, audited information security management system covering access control, encryption, incident response, and vendor risk.
- SOC 2 Type II - confirms, through an independent CPA audit over a multi-month period, that Anyway's security controls are not just documented but actually operating effectively in practice.
